Mr. Faris Awartani is the Deputy Chairman and CEO of MOSECO Group, with over three decades of leadership in telecommunications and ICT across the Middle East, and serves as Chairman of the FTTH Council MENA.

Experience

Mr. Faris Awartani is the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MOSECO Group, began his career in Saudi Arabia, progressing from commercial sales into executive leadership, and quickly established a reputation for combining strong market insight with practical delivery—helping grow MOSECO’s system integration capabilities and driving major business expansion. He later led the launch of MOSECO Jordan and co-founded ITEC in Palestine, supporting major telecom operators through partnerships with global technology leaders such as Nortel, Alcatel, and Ericsson.

Since 2001, as Deputy Chairman and CEO of MOSECO Group, he has played a central role in expanding the Group’s operations across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Qatar, and the UAE, while establishing several successful affiliated companies and joint ventures serving telecom operators, enterprise clients, and national markets. Alongside his executive career, Mr. Awartani has served on multiple boards across banking, investment, and construction sectors, and is widely recognized for his regional industry leadership as the Chairman of the FTTH Council MENA, advancing fiber adoption and next-generation connectivity across the region. Mr. Awartani holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management and Operations Research from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Texas, and continues to be known for his strategic vision, partnership-driven leadership, and long-term commitment to digital infrastructure development.
