Project Overview
MOSECO Group through it’s affiliate company Bazy executed a nationwide upgrade to modernize outdoor lighting across communications sites, replacing a total of 1,329 fence lights and 1,009 exterior wall-mounted lights with a solar photovoltaic (PV)–powered lighting system. The project covered sites across the Kingdom and focused on improving energy efficiency, operational reliability, and sustainability. The new solar lighting solution delivers autonomous operation, reduced energy consumption, and lower maintenance requirements, while ensuring consistent illumination and enhanced site safety across all locations.
Project Value
This nationwide solar lighting upgrade delivered measurable operational, financial, and sustainability value across communications sites throughout the Kingdom. By replacing over 2,300 legacy outdoor lighting fixtures with solar photovoltaic (PV)–powered systems, MOSECO Group—through its affiliate Bazy—enabled fully autonomous lighting operation, eliminating dependence on grid power and significantly reducing energy consumption and operating costs. The standardized solar lighting solution enhanced site safety and security through consistent, reliable illumination while lowering maintenance requirements and minimizing field interventions. At scale, the project contributed to a reduced carbon footprint and supported national sustainability objectives, aligning infrastructure operations with long-term energy efficiency and environmental responsibility goals. Overall, the project strengthened network site resilience, improved operational efficiency, and demonstrated MOSECO Group’s capability to deliver large-scale, sustainable infrastructure modernization programs with tangible long-term value.
