Cell on Wheels (COWs) Deployment – 25m

Project Overview

This project involved the rapid delivery of 50 Cell on Wheels (COWs) units, each with a 25-meter mast, to support temporary and rapid mobile network coverage for Korek Telecom.

MOSECO was responsible for the supply, assembly, configuration, and readiness of the complete COWs solution, delivering all units within an accelerated three-month timeframe. The project enabled Korek Telecom to quickly expand coverage capacity for events, emergency scenarios, and network rollouts in challenging environments.

Scope of Work

1. COWs Supply & Assembly

Supply of 50 Cell on Wheels units with 25m deployable masts
Mechanical assembly and structural configuration of all COWs
Compliance with telecom and safety standards for mobile deployment

2. Integrated Power Systems

Integration of dual generators per COW for high availability
Main Distribution Boards (MDBs) and power controllers
Power redundancy and load management for continuous operation

3. Telecom Equipment Integration

Installation of telecom cabinets and Radio Base Stations (RBS)
Integration of up to 9 antennas per COW
Cable management, grounding, and system readiness

4. Configuration & Commissioning

System configuration and functional testing
End-to-end readiness for immediate network activation
Delivery of fully operational, deployable units
