Project Overview
The project delivers nationwide restoration and continuity support for SEC’s critical DMR communication tower infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. Delivered by BAZY under the Electromechanical & Renewable business unit, the project covers end-to-end execution including tower dismantling, rehabilitation, relocation, testing and commissioning, evaluation, access road works, and the supply of Cell on Wheels (COW) units—designed, manufactured, and implemented by BAZY—to ensure service continuity during tower rehabilitation activities. The scope includes both self-support towers and guyed-wire towers with heights ranging from 30 to 80 meters, executed by qualified teams trained for permits, working at height, rigging, and heavy-equipment operations.
Project Value
The project delivers high operational value by ensuring communication availability and service continuity across SEC sites through a structured approach to tower rehabilitation and temporary emergency alternatives. By combining specialized tower dismantling and rehabilitation capabilities with rapid deployment of telecom COW solutions, the engagement reduces outage risk, improves readiness during critical maintenance windows, and enables scalable execution across multiple tower types and geographic locations. The project also strengthens long-term infrastructure sustainability through compliant engineering practices, optimized field logistics, and strong local execution supported by expert teams and heavy equipment resources.
