Project Overview
The West Coast Ground Shelters project is a government-sector delivery executed for Airbus on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia, providing highly reliable field infrastructure designed to operate safely and consistently in harsh environmental conditions. Delivered by BAZY under the Electromechanical & Renewable business unit, the project covered the design, supply, furnishing, and testing of 42 fire-resistant ground shelters featuring a self-support structure, anti-corrosion protection, and earthquake-proof fixation points. Each shelter was equipped with integrated systems including dual stainless-steel HVAC with fresh air cooling and dehumidification mode, high-protection electrical panels, FM200 firefighting system, and indoor/outdoor LED lighting suitable for demanding environments.
Project Value
The project delivered strong operational value by enabling rapid deployment of fully equipped, field-ready shelters that enhance safety, reliability, and readiness across critical government locations. Through an integrated turnkey approach and site-ready engineering, the solution improved resilience, maintainability, and scalability, supporting future expansions and evolving operational needs. The project also reinforced BAZY’s position as a trusted system integrator for government infrastructure by combining globally approved vendors with strong local execution capabilities.
